I had a few minutes to spare this week so I decided to create another free Storyline 2 Tabs template to release into the e-Learning universe. I mean, who doesn’t have a need for a tabs template?! Click the image to see a demo of this Storyline 2 freebie!
As part of the design process, I wanted to take advantage of several of the assets available from the E-Learning Heroes Community. You can find more free assets in their Downloads section. This template is very simple and uses the Spiral Notebook Graphic courtesy of Tom Kuhlmann. I made one small change to increase the space between the two covers of the notebook. The “company” photo, used as a placeholder, is courtesy of fellow e-Learning designer, Jeff Kortenbosch. I created the woodgrain background in Photoshop, the semi-transparent tabs and the tape strip (holding the photos in place) using PowerPoint.
Each of the tabs uses four states (Normal, Hover, Selected and Visited); each has a trigger to Show the appropriate layer (e.g., 1, 2, 3 or 4).
The Storyline 2 master file can be found here.
