Articulate’s Storyline 360 has a new feature that you might be interested in. It’s called the dials interaction. Interactive knobs and dials are a great way to simulate real-world objects and tasks in your e-Learning courses. In this week’s challenge, Using Interactive Dials and Knobs in E-Learning #151, the goal was to share an example that demonstrates how interactive dials and knobs can be used in e-learning.
Dials are very similar to the slider feature that made its appearance in Storyline 2. With that in mind, I thought I would go back to an earlier challenge for my inspiration. In that challenge, I decided to create a mock-up of an old radio using the slider as a way to move between stations. I changed out the slider with the new dial feature, reconfigured my triggers, and here is the result. A “new” old radio with the new Articulate 360 dial in place.
