Today, I’m posting a sample using Articulate 360. It’s for the “Change Your E-Learning Perspective #160” challenge. The goal of the challenge was to create an e-Learning demo that’s taller than it is wide.
As time was limited, I wanted to do something quick that was fun to interact with. In this case, I decided to create a simple music trivia game that includes five questions along with their answers. Who doesn’t love music trivia, right?!
To meet the requirements of the challenge, I set the story size to a width of 405 pixels and a height of 720 pixels. I utilized a single slide with a base layer and one layer for each question.
For the title screen and the question/answer text, I used a font called Agency FB. The image of the bass speaker was provided by pixabay.com. When the user clicks the See Answer button, two triggers are fired. The first trigger brings the answer up from the bottom of the screen. The second, brings the Next circle button from the left to the middle of the screen. Motion paths were used to create these animations. I also added a trigger to go to the next question (e.g., layer) when the user clicks the Next circle button.
If I had more time, I would add a scoring mechanism to the sample. For now, enjoy this “score-free” music trivia sample. It looks great when viewed from my Samsung Galaxy S5 smartphone!
