Halloween is a time of celebration and superstition. Have you ever wondered where it originated from? Well, according to the folks over at History.com, Halloween is thought to have originated with an ancient Celtic festival of Samhain. During the festival, people would light bonfires and wear costumes to ward off roaming ghosts.
Over time, Halloween has evolved into a secular, community-based event that is characterized by children dressing up and walking through their neighborhoods to trick-or-treat. Trick-or-treating differs from one culture to the next but typically involves asking for treats (candy or in some cultures money) with the phrase “trick-or-treat”. The “trick” part of the phrase involves an “idle” threat to not create any harm or damage to the owner or their property if they provide a treat! Well, here’s your treat for this Halloween week… a fun mix and match game with spooky music to accompany it.
Have a fun and safe Halloween 2015!
