Do you like to read books?
As Abraham Lincoln once stated, “All I have learned. I learned from books.” This quote was bouncing around in my head after reading it the other day. I suspect that’s how it became intertwined into this week’s challenge titled, “Notecard Interactions in E-Learning #149“, which involves creating a simple click-and-reveal activity.
I wanted to build something using sticky-notes but I also wanted to connect it to reading books. As we all know, reading books can help reduce stress, increase your vocabulary, and even make you a better writer!
After contemplating this approach I came up with the following design. It uses an illustrated drawing of an office with sticky notes on cubicle the wall. This custom drag and drop consists of a base slide with 4 layers. Each layer represents the book referenced on the sticky note.
The source for the books is the E-Learning Heroes E-Books section and get this, they are all free! As they say, you can learn the ropes, get answers, or brush up on e-learning essentials by taking advantage of these resources.
I used Storyline 2’s Web Objects to leverage these web-based resources. Click the image below and enjoy this quick sample. It’s as simple as dragging the note to the monitor.
