If you haven’t had the chance to read my blog post, “Surviving a Killer Bee Invasion,” please take a moment and give it a look. It provides you with a little background on a recent Articulate Challenge. You can find it here.
Now that you’ve had the chance to see the low tech version, here is the new and improved digital version.
To create this version, I captured some of the graphics from my original drawings and then used PowerPoint and a few other selected graphics (and sound) to bring this paper-based project to life.
The opening screen idea came from seeing airplanes dragging signs behind them to advertise someone’s product or an upcoming event. I thought it would be appropriate for this demo.
I also utilized a wonderful newspaper image to create the look and feel for “The City of Beeville Times”. The image can be found by following this link to Articulate’s website.
The entire demo was created using 5 slides (including the title slide). It consists of mainly layers and triggers and hotspots… oh my! I also used Articulate’s Lightbox feature to showcase a very special creature you may have not seen before.
As always, a little dash of humor was used along the way! Click the image below to view the demo.
