Learning to write and punctuate sentences correctly is a skill we all should have. On the other hand, does it have to be boring? I think not! In this Articulate Challenge, the goal was to design a learning interaction that teaches one or more concepts around punctuation. My submission for the week includes balloons, a panda, and some really upbeat music to make the learning process fun.
When it comes to punctuation, you have to know about commas, semicolons, colons, exclamation points, periods, and when to write a word with its first letter in uppercase. The latter referring to the use of capitalization and that’s what my submission is all about.
This entire Storyline 2 game is built on a single slide and uses layers and states to present the questions and feedback. Don’t worry, if you get the answer wrong, a friendly panda will appear and encourage you to try again. I’ve employed the use of my resident illustrator Morgan to help me create our panda artwork.
