This Articulate Challenge was based off the concept of memes. These “digital nuggets” which carry a culture’s ideas, symbols, or practices are passed down from one to another verbally and in writing. Memes can be delivered in the form of gif’s, videos, photos, commercials, or in this case, via Articulate Storyline!
For this challenge, the goal was to use the “What People Think I Do/What I Really Do” meme. For mine, I chose the role of e-Learning Designer and used Articulate Storyline, Camtasia Studio, PowerPoint and Snagit in the design. .
For the look and feel, I wanted to provide something that used illustrated art, something that was bright and “cheerful”, and introduced a little humor at the same time.
To build this demo, I used two slides and Articulate’s layer features. After moving through the title slide, you are taken to the “main menu” as shown below.
After selecting one of the images, you will see a new layer which can then be hidden using the Go Back button.
Overall, this was a simple Articulate project but I think it provides a fun way to see how the “people” I know perceive what I really do. Click the image below to watch this demo. I hope you like it.
