Who doesn’t love a mystery, right? If you can add a little math, some travel, a music venue called Club Kewl, a stolen guitar, and a few shady characters, before you know it, you have this weeks’ Articulate’s challenge. It was built in Storyline 1 and tests you ability to gather information and use what you know about adding/subtracting time to solve a mystery. The crowd sound effect is from FreeSFX and the font used is called True Crimes. It took me about 2 1/2 hours to build this sample demo.
The story centers around a character named JV Nice. JV Nice is a world renowned Jazz Artist. He is getting ready to go onstage but discovers someone has stolen his custom guitar while he was out earlier in the day. While he struggles with losing his guitar, the crowd outside is growing restless but still JV will not go on stage. That’s where you come in!
The local police captain identified three suspects and has provided you with the evidence along with other details that you need to solve the case.
If you solve the mystery, you’ll win a reward at the end! Is it Don Juan Estevez or Beverly Gigglesnot? Could it be Elliot Rockstar Reynolds?
To find out, you’ll just have to play the game!
