Wildland Firefighter and Google Doodles

Home » elearningMatters » Wildland Firefighter and Google Doodles
February 17, 2023 by Richard

As the Articulate Challenge states, Google Doodles are interactive animations and illustrations that appear on the search engine’s homepage, often in celebration of a famous person or event.

Today, I created a Google Doodle-inspired animation using Storyline 360. It uses a few animated gifs, two move animations, and some illustrated drawings from the Content Library. I’ve been working with a client on updating their existing content for Wildland Firefighters and thought I would use that as my launching point.

According to the National Interagency Fire Center website, “National Wildland Firefighter Day recognizes the dedication of wildland firefighters, including federal, state, local, Tribal, military, rural, contract, and support personnel.”

Although we are still in the month of February, we are not too far away from summer and the potential of wildfires up here in the Pacific Northwest. Let’s not forget the people who put their lives on the line to protect life, property, and natural and cultural resources!
